What is SSO?
SSO stands for Single Sign-On and refers to a authentication mechanism where users can access several services, only needing to log in a single time at any of the respective services.
Typically, this involves a well-known identity provider, such as Office365, SAML, LDAP, or OpenID Connect.
Schools have the option of setting up SSO authenticaton in WebUntis. Users can then log directly into WebUntis via their selected identity provider(s) and thus do not need dedicated access credentials within WebUntis itself.
Untis Mobile and SSO
Unfortunately, registration via SSO is currently not possible in Untis Mobile at this point. This function will follow in the future.
Until this is implemented, registration in Untis Mobile is only possible via the QR code from WebUntis.
You can find the QR code in WebUntis in your profile under "Shares".
You can find your school at: https://webuntis.com/
