Navigating Between Weeks / Elements
Not much has changed in this area compared to the previous timetable view. At the top of the timetable, you can see which week is currently being displayed and use the arrows to navigate to a previous or upcoming week.
By clicking on the currently displayed week, a calendar opens that allows you to jump to any week you choose.
Similarly, you can use the selection menu in the top left corner to switch between different elements, such as classes or teachers.
Use the arrows to navigate to the previous or next element, or open the drop-down menu to select any element directly.
If your school has multiple departments, you can also apply a department filter.
Clicking the small “i” icon next to the selected element provides additional information — for example, the class teacher for a class, or the room capacity in a room timetable.
Color Highlighting of Changes
As a teacher in WebUntis, you can enable or disable color highlighting using the bar below the timetable.
This feature allows you to visually emphasize all special entries in the timetable, making them easy to identify at a glance. These include modified lessons, exams, cancellations, or events from external calendars.
If some of these options are not visible in the bar below the timetable, your WebUntis administrator has disabled their display.
On the right edge of the bar, you'll find three dots that open a menu with additional options.
Here, you can choose to display small icons next to modified lessons in addition to color highlighting, and you can show or hide any linked external calendars.
Teachers and administrators can also select the timetable layout here, provided that multiple formats have been made available by the administrator.
