Booking data can be re-imported to Untis, so that the substitution planner knows about modified room availabilities.
Start Untis and go to <File> | <Import/Export> | <Untis> | <WebUntis> |, which will open the interface dialogue window to WebUntis "Agenda". An alternative would be: Click on the globe symbol on the top left in Untis' quick access toolbar.
Click on the button in the input box to import the booking data from WebUntis' "Agenda" to Untis' "Cover scheduling". Bookings are displayed as special duties in Untis, room changes are imported as room substitutions.
Now you can decide whether the bookings are to be imported as special duties and room substitutions to Untis. Click on the "Select bookings" button and all bookings which are either imported
("Import" button) or ignored ("Ignore" button) are automatically selected. When you are done, close this view with the "Close" button.
It is always better to import or ignore bookings in order to avoid any errors.
Since the bookings exist as data set in substitution planning, you can continue with your work in "Cover scheduling".
How to import bookings several times
Every booking is imported to Untis only once. If it becomes necessary to import a booking a second time due to any reason, you need go to <Book> |
<Bookings>, go to the respective booking, and remove the check in the box of the column. Then click on the <Save> button. The respective booking can now be imported to Untis for a second time.
