There are several methods to count events.
Do not count additional periods and cancellations
Teacher "Arist" usually has three periods on Wednesdays. If he is on excursion with a class for eight hours (see example), the cancellation of the three periods he cannot teach are not counted negatively, the additional five hours, however, are not counted positively either.
A pre-requisite is that the reason of absence - "Excursion" - (Do not count cancellation!) is entered. If another teacher is released due to the absence of his class, these periods are counted negatively for the respective teacher.
Count additional periods
If the additional five hours are to be counted positively for teacher Arist on Wednesday, then you need to check the box "count" for the event.
How to change the value of the event
As of Untis 2019, you can define a value for an event. Show the "Value" column via the "Grid adjustment" button. If you set "values" in the "Count how..." section of the substitution counter, this value has an effect on the substitution statement of the teachers:
Don't count releases
If you do not want the releases caused by the class absence to be counted negatively, you need to check the "Don't count releases" box for "Reason of absence".
