You can display the substition list in HTML format as an alternative to printing it, and can therefore publish it on the internet or the school's intranet.
Info-Timetable
The Info-Timetable provides you with additional possibilities to electronically publish substitution data. In the following we will introduce to you some of the display possibilities. For additional information read the chapter "Info-Timetable" in the module handbook.
HTML Cover scheduling
The "Substition planning" module provides you with the possibility to display substitution lists in HTML format. Do as follows:
- Open the print selection by clicking on the <Print> or the <Page layout> icon for the required substitution format.
- When you click on < HTML>, the data will be saved in HTML format in a file of your choice.
- Open the file: "Print_cla.html" in a web browser.
- Via the index you can navigate to the individual elements. The substitution data are automatically sorted according to the criteria the substitution view is sorted.
The layout of the data displayed in HTML format can be adjusted similar to the printing layout. We recommend to create a substitution view for HTML display.
Static HTML Info-Timetable
Static HTML display is mainly used in the teachers' room. A complete website including a navigation bar is exported by just one mouse click which you can use for changing between the timetables of the displayed elements (class, teacher, room timetables, substitution lists). Now the data can be published on the intra or internet. For additional information read the chapter "Info-Timetable" in the "Modules" manual.
Uploading data to the school's server can be done automatically by an FTP uploader. It automatically recognises changed data and uploads them to the FTP server.
Monitor-HTML - Info-Timetable
In publicly accessible areas it is very often not possible to instal a computer with a keyboard and a mouse , therefore an intervention-free solution similar to an information display system at the airport is necessary. The "Info-Timetable" module provides such a solution with its "Monitor display. The substitution data are published on a monitor or by the means of a beamer in the entrance area of the school. The pages are automatically "turned", you therefore do not need any input devices.
The exact operating principle of this application is described in more detail in the chapter "Info-Timetable" in the "Modules" manual.
You can send substitution data also via e-mail or text message (SMS). For more information read the respective manual or visit our website: www.untis.at. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact your Untis partner at any time.
