General
The view of period details has been changed from scratch in the new WebUntis design.
Period details in the old design:
By clicking on a period in the new design, you now get a completely new view split in several tabs:

General information on a period such as class, subject, date, room and teacher are shown at the top.
Tab 1: Details
Period details are now split into several tabs. In the first one you see general information on the period:
- Substitution text (if available)
- visible for all users
- booking texts are also displayed here
- Examinations (if available)
- visible for all users working at this school (teachers, management, ...)
- visible for students and parent(s)/legal guardians, provided that the examination has been “announced”
- Information for students
- visible for all users – this field replaces the existing field: "Information on period"
- editable with the right: "Information on period"
- Information for teachers [NEW – not yet available]
- visible for all users working at this school (teachers, management, ...)
- editable with the right: "Information on period"
- Teaching content [NEW – not yet available]
- makes teaching content visible to students, as well
- visible for users with the right "Teaching content" or "Class register"
- Due homework [NEW – not yet available]
- visible for users with the right "Homework"; "Read"
In this tab you can additionally change rooms provided you have the Agenda module. This is shown by a “+” icon next to the room name.
Depending on the rights you have, you can use additional features of the Agenda module such as "Cancel lesson" or "Shift".
Conduct of double periods and multiple periods taking place at the same time
When you click on the arrow in the period details of a double period, you can select one of the two periods. Here you can change the text or the room of the individual period.
The same applies for changing the text or the room of individual periods of multiple lessons taking place at the same time. In our example, you can choose individual periods of the lessons “Sports boys” and “Sports girls”.
Tab 2: Class register
This tab shows the class register of the respective period. Different from the old design, you now can use all class register features directly in the period detail.

Tab 3: Messenger
This tab shows the Messenger of the lesson of the period selected.
If there is not yet a Messenger group available for the respective lesson, you can create it here in no time. In the new design, the created chat group is shown directly in the period detail window, and you can chat with your students right then and there.
On this page, you can only chat with the group of the lesson. If you want to chat with another group/person you need to access the Messenger via the main menu.
